Gnar Awarded ITS81 Statewide Contract by Commonwealth of Massachusetts

The Gnar Company is excited to announce that they have been awarded the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' IT Project Services Contract (ITS81).

This is a Statewide Contract for IT Project Services and replaces ITS74 for Solution Providers and Technical Secialists. This contract is for information technology (IT) professional services to perform fixed price, deliverables-based IT projects. The contract runs through June 30, 2034.

The Gnar Company is an industry leader in custom software development with experience developing solutions for multiple Massachusetts agencies including the Department of Public Utilities (DPU), Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), MBTA, and more.   • Software Maintenance and Feature Development

Any eligible government organization within Massachusetts can purchase a full range of software development and design services from The Gnar. The list of eligible organizations includes:

  • Cities, towns, districts, counties, and other political subdivisions
  • Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches, including all departments and elected offices therein
  • Independent public authorities, commissions, and quasi-public agencies
  • Local public libraries, public school districts, and charter schools
  • Public hospitals owned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Public institutions of higher education
  • Public purchasing cooperatives
  • Non-profit, UFR-certified organizations that are doing business with the Commonwealth
  • Other states and territories with no prior approval by the State Purchasing Agent
  • Other entities when designated in writing by the State Purchasing Agent

The Gnar Company was selected for this new state-wide contract based on their capabilities and strong performance on the prior ITS74 contract. This strong performance on the ITS74 contract was demonstrated by letters of recommendations from Commonwealth clients, overall usage of the ITS74 contract by the Commonwealth with Gnar over the last 5 years, and Gnar's spend of over 18.5% of contracted value with Massachusetts SDP (Supplier Diversity Program) certified suppliers over the last 5 years. SDP suppliers include Women-Owned Enterprises (WBE), Veteran- Minority-Owned Enterprises (MBE), and Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBEs). The Gnar is truly excited to continue to partner with the Commonwealth to design and build great software.
